Belgian football club KRC Genk is the first club in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League to have a Grassmaster field installed.
Employees of Grassmaster are currently busy injecting 20 million PP fibres up to 18 centimeters deep into the existing field. It will take 10 days before the project is completed.
KRC Genk is the first club in Belgium Jupiler Pro League that will play on an innovation that originally was developed by Belgium company Desso Sports. The concept is now owned by Tarkett Sports.
Dan Duffy, former 'Groundsmaster' of Swansea City, will assist and train the groundsmen of KRC Genk to ensure they know what to do to keep the new Grassmaster field in pristine condition.
